‘She stands serenely in the middle of what seems to be a sunlight-dappled workshop, and in both hands, elegantly covered with silver and gold rings, she clutches a pale, speckled vase. The two handles which protrude out from either side of the vase make me think of a Roman amphora, reinterpreted and modernized.’
